Kyle Harper

 

On Thursday April 14, 2016 Kyle Harper ”Our Hero”, passed away peacefully at the University of Alberta Hospital at the age of 27 years old.

Kyle was born on December 28, 1988 in Grande Prairie, AB where he lived in both Wembley and Grande Prairie.

Kyle had a zest for life living each and every day to the fullest. Kyle was a big part of the community and was involved in many facets such as Pards, Special Olympics, Golfing, bowling, skiing, and hockey. He volunteered for Good Will, and most recently worked for them. Some of his most famous sayings were: Dude, Ah Man, Moron, with his most common thrill “911”. His love for sports and wrestling was unprecedented, Calgary Flames being his favorite team.

He is survived by his parents Chenda and Bill Frederick, sister Hayley, brothers: Tyson and Torrance; grandmothers Helen Kellogg, Jennifer Young (Harper) and Ruth Frolick; grandfather Ken Vereschagin,  many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, Crystal View Family, coworkers and his father Walter Harper.

Kyle was predeceased by his grandfathers: Jim Kellogg, Gordon Harper and Bill Young.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11:00am at People’s Church in Grande Prairie (11850 108th St.) with interment to follow at Grande Prairie Cemetery (84th Ave and 112th St.).

Everyone is welcome to join the family back at People’s Church after the interment to gather for drinks and lunch.
