Francis "Frank" Budzinski


December 19, 1954 - April 29, 2012

 

Frank Budzinski, longtime resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta, passed away in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the age of 57 years. Frank was born on December 19, 1954 in Edmonton, Alberta, to Victor and Moira Budzinski of Wildwood, Alberta. Frank spent his early years on the family farm in Wildwood before venturing off to Hay River in the Northwest Territories to begin his career in the telecommunications field with Canadian National Telecommunications. Frank later transferred to Northwestel in Whitehorse, Yukon, before moving to Grande Prairie in 1992. Frank will be sadly missed by his wife, Janice, children: Patrick (Krista) of Calgary, Ryan of Calgary, Krista (Greg) of Grande Prairie; his grandchildren: Austin, Brooke, Bria, Nash and Marley; brother Mike (Shirley), Bill, Victor (Jeanette) Maureen (Dale), and numerous nephews and nieces. Frank was predeceased by his mother, Moira Budzinski (1997), his father Victor Budzinski (1999), his sister in-laws: Ann Budzinski (2009), Rosalyn Watson (2009); father in-law Doug Watson (2004). The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 3:00pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grande Prairie, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to STARS Air Ambulance.
