In Loving Memory Of

Edna Mae (Hodgson) Greber

January 24, 1943 - May 17, 2012


Edna Mae Greber, longtime resident of Hythe, and more recently of Grande Prairie, passed away at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, AB on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the age of 69 years, after an extended battle with emphysema. She will be sadly missed by her loving family; Thomas Greber, Allan (Michelle) Greber and her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Christopher and Mitchell, Tim (Paula) Greber and her granddaughter Morgan, Clayton (Patricia) Greber and her grandchildren, Carter, Caitlin, Gavin and Jordan; her brother James (Betty) Hodgson, sister Fern (Anthony) Klemenchuk, brother Bill (Maureen) Hodgson, brother Rick (Fran) Hodgson, and sister Bernadette Hodgson. She was predeceased by her parents, Lea and Sophie Hodgson. Prayer service will be held Monday, May 21, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at Oliver’s Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Beaverlodge. A luncheon will be held following the service at the Hythe Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Human Organ Procurement and Exchange (HOPE) Program (Aberhart Centre Suite 9120A 11402 University Ave. Edmonton, AB T6g 2J3). Thank you to Emerald Gardens Staff and the QEII Hospital ICU nurses and doctors.

Many fond memories of Edna Mae during the early and mid fifties at HOP lake. Such a sweet person. Condolences to the Greber and Hodgson families.
