Family: Your Father and and Grandfather was one who was looked up to by all who had the good fortune to know him. Jim and family, as we know he has gone to be with the great architect of the universe where he will dwell forever. May your faith in God sustain you in this time of sorrow. Gordon & Eleanor Astle

With pleasant memories of my association with Elvin and family during my ministry at Hythe United Church (1980-1983) I extend my sympathy on your sad loss of a good man.I recall that Elvin very much enjoyed a laugh and chuckle and often was the source of wise advice for a young minister from the East Coast! I pray that the support of your friends will bring you great comfort as they affirm your place and his in their community and in their hearts. With prayers for God's comfort and blessing; Rev. Eric Lynk

Oh heart aches for you as you bury your father. It doesn't matter how much experience we have with loss, losing a parent takes alot of grief work. I pray you and your family feel peace, love and connection during this time. I'm thinking of you my friend. Love Lynette
