He was predeceased by his granddaughter Faith Mitchell, sister Marjorie and brother in-law Isaac Thiessen, brother Kenneth and sister in-law Roberta Mitchell, brother in-law Gordon Miller. A funeral service will be held at the Blueberry Mountain Hall on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00am with dinner to follow Reverend Alice Hanson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant View Lodge (5230 44 Ave PO Bag 3200 Spirit River, AB).
