In Loving Memory Of

Joyce Bernice Pederson

July 7, 1924 - July 21, 2012


On July 21, 2012, Joyce Bernice Pederson of Grande Prairie passed away peacefully at the age of 88. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her 5 children: Rockey (Donna) Pederson of Okotoks, AB, Reg of Grande Prairie, AB, Mickey Pederson of Grande Prairie, Darrell (Shelly) Pederson of Red Deer, AB, and Gordon of Edmonton, Joyce is also survived by 2 sisters, Cathy (Bill) Speers of New Westminster, B.C., and Sharon (Wally) Breitkreuz of Edmonton, along with her brother Maurice Osland of Onoway, AB; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her husband Cliff, daughter Louella, son-in-law Ed Semack, brother Jack Osland, sister June Galliford, her mother Mildred Cook and her father Jack Osland. The family would like to thank Dr. Campbell and Dr. Barreth and the nursing staff on 5 North at the QEII Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. There will be a celebration of Joyce’s life for family and friends at the Onoway Hall, Onoway, AB on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Luncheon to follow in Hall basement. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens (16102 Fort Road, Edmonton, AB) In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.


Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Joyce was a dear friend and will truly miss her. I enjoyed working with her at the flower shop.

Garry and I send our deepest sympathies to Joe, Jamie and families.Joyce was a wonderful person. I had the chance to work with her in Lou's flower shop. Had some fun days and great laughs.She will be sadly missed by all.
