Obituary For Adam Loeffelmann

Adam Loeffelmann, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 85 years.

Adam was born on June 28, 1937, in Neuhutte, Bukovina. After World War II he lived in Germany with his mother and brother, until 1952, when they came to Canada. He met his wife in Grande Prairie, and they had four children. He was an accountant for many years.

Adam had so many positive attributes. He was hardworking, steadfast, had a quiet strength, mischievous, sneaky sense of humour, persistent, humble achiever, generous, happy countenance (always smiling), and most of all well loved.

He was a very avid reader of Der Spiegel, he loved to take care of his garden and his acreage.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Irene (nee Swerediuk) Loeffelmann; children: Monica Loeffelmann, Carl Loeffelmann, Laura (nee Loeffelmann) Meadwell, and Lisa Loeffelmann; grandchildren: Em, Alec, Nevin, Cassie, Lincoln, and Connor.

Adam was predeceased by his mother Marie in 1996, and his brother Alfred in 2009.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, June 9, 2023, at 3:00 pm, at Volin Cemetery, Spirit River (no. 133, AB).

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Northern AB/NWT (9618-101A Ave NW Edmonton, AB T5H 0C7, www.salvationarmy.com).
