Obituary For Agnes Dutz German
Agnes German, resident of Wembley, AB, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Beaverlodge Hospital, at the age of 85 years.
Agnes was born in Springside, SK. She was the youngest of eleven children: sisters: Dolly, Fillizita, Edna, Gladyce and Angella; brothers: Albert, Almer, Johnny, Daniel and Herman.
She resided in Wembley for the last 21 years at Martin Hein Court since her late husband Arthur German’s passing. Agnes was an avid baker and enjoyed sharing with her grandchildren and neighbours. She lived life with a no sugar-coating attitude but with a very good sense of humour and the kindest of hearts that none of her family members will ever forget.
Agnes fought a short battle with congestive heart failure. She was blessed to have her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with her until she peacefully went home.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Clarice (Rene) Halvorson; grandchildren: Heather Jenner, Jodi (John) Westercamp, and Cory Halvorson; great-grandchildren: Samantha and Meadow Ballard, and Jasper Westercamp; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Carl and Alma Dutz; husband Art German; her brothers and sisters; and her loving daughter Shelley Jenner.
With respect to Agnes’ wishes, cremation and a private family gathering to spread her ashes will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation (#710, 10123 99 St. NW, Edmonton, AB, T5J 3H1).
Just think!
Of stepping on shore and finding it heaven.
Of touching a hand and finding it god’s hand.
Of breathing new air and finding it celestial.
Of waking up in heaven and finding you are home!

We are Sorry to hear about your moms passing, Rene. Brings back a lot of memories when I see this picture. I used to see your mom and dad quite frequently when I worked at the bank. We miss your smiling face and wonder what you have been up to the past few years. Take Care.

I am so saddened to hear of your mother's death. She was my 1st cousin on her mother's side of the family. I loved our talks over the years. We kept up with our families through those phone calls. We last spoke on Dec 22, 2020 when she came home from a hospital stay & told me she wasn't doing the best. She was always fun to speak with & encouraging as well. I will miss her much. Much love to all. Dolly Borkowski
