Alice Buckle passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the age of 76 years, in Grande Prairie.

Alice was born in Drumheller, AB, on July 12, 1940. She was the second youngest and the last surviving of 12 siblings.

Alice called Drumheller home when she met and married Tony and had 3 children: Gail, Angie and Butch.

Then it was off to Wanham where she managed the hotel for many years and finally to Clairmont where she called home for more than thirty years.

She became very active with the legion for 21 years, from serving, to membership to President, and performing in the Country and Rock & Roll shows.

This is where she met Ken and was married in July 2004, adding two more to her family, Greg and James.

Alice really enjoyed working at Sears and camping was her passion. She loved the peace and quiet and went out every chance she could.

Alice leaves to mourn her husband Ken and Peanut (her pride and joy), Gail (Robert) of Provost, Angie of Drumheller, Butch (Myrna) of Smoky Lake, Greg (Shannon) of Victoria and James of Victoria, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous friends.

Memorial Service for Alice will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 2:00pm, at the Grande Prairie Legion (9912 101 St.).
