Alice May Hutchinson (nee Bliss), resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, at the QEII Hospital at the age of 74 years. Alice was born and raised in Grande Prairie where she was a parent, homemaker and writer. She enjoyed crafting and making art, but her true passion was writing. One of her crowning achievements was having one of her short stories read on CBC Radio. Alice will be sadly missed by her special friend Floyd Bean; children Heather and Melanie; grandson Finn; dear friend Shauna Boivin; as well as various friends and family. Alice was predeceased by her father Everett Bliss; mother Mildred Buelow Bliss; as well as brothers Myron Bliss, Howard Bliss, Ronald Bliss, and Wallace Bliss. In lieu of a service, memorial donations in honour of Alice can be made to the Canadian Lung Association (502-885 Meadowlands Drive, Ottawa, ON, K2C 3N2).
