Condolences

I had the honor of coming up to Grande Prairie twice a year and work with Alan at the school board. Alan was an old school kind of a guy and I looked forward to seeing him for the week as we always had so many laughs and I was up there to train him on our equipment but ended up learning so much from him at the same time. So sad to learn of his passing and would like to thank him for being such a great customer and friend. He really was one of a kind.

Iâ??m so sorry to hear of Allanâ??s passing. He was such a kind man and so friendly! In my years as a Kindergarten teacher at Harry Balfour, he visited my classroom quite often to try to find the source of the â??moaning ghostâ?? sounds coming out of the heating vents. We were both very excited when he at last found the faulty valve. My sincere condolences to your family. You were truly blessed to have him in your lives.

Al worked in the fix it department at PWSD while I was principal of Laglace School. He was always a person I could get a straight answer from and more than that someone who was a good friend. Al took the time to talk shop when he was at my school and we always ended up talking about family. I kept t easing Nicole that he wanted grandkids so she needed to get busy. Nicole, Brian and family my heart goes out to you during this time of loss and may you keep his smile and his memory close to you always.
