Alma May Keirs, resident of Silver Valley, AB passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 69 years.

Alma was born in Taber, AB, on April 25, 1949 to John Henry and Aganetha Dyck.

She was the youngest of 14 children: Kay, Liz, John, Anne, Frank, Mary, Helen, Susie, Peter, Bertha, Benjamin and two infants who passed away. She married Robert Keirs in 1979 and they had two children: Benjamin and Abigail.

Alma loved her gardens, music, taking care of her family and Jesus. She devoted her life to serving others and impacted many with her love.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Robert Keirs; children: Benjamin (Meghan) and Abigail (David); grandchildren: Elianna, Sophia, Amelie, Owen, Julian and Oliver.

She was predeceased by her parents: John Henry and Aganetha Dyck, brothers: Frank and Benny; and sisters: Kay, Mary, and Helen.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 6, 2018, at 2:00pm, at the Silver Valley Hall in Silver Valley, AB.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
