Obituary For Alvin Evenson

Alvin George Evenson, resident of Rycroft passed away suddenly at home on Friday, November 27, 2015, at the age of 49 years.

He was born on April 4, 1966 in Spirit River to Grace and Lloyd Evenson. He grew up on the farm at Wanham and has worked for Department Highways and more recently Cargil Grain.

Alvin is survived by his wife Gina Marie, daughter Mia age 5, brother Melvin, sisters Audrey (Gord) and Marilyn (Brent), brother Barry; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Grace, and two brothers Wilfred and Gary.

A Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 1:00 - 2:00pm at Rycroft Community Hall.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 2:00pm at Rycroft Community Hall.

Memorial Donations may be made to a trust fund for his daughter Mia through RBC Spirit River (PO Box 10, Spirit River, AB, T0H 3G0).

    This is a very hard message to write to Alvin's family. Alvin was such a gentle, gentle soul and somebody who I considered to be a true friend. I still have his graduation picture that he gave to me after 30 years and his comments will be always something I cherish. Melvin, this must be truly hard for you.     Oh so very sad to hear about this sad loss. Its been many years since we left but Alvin always did seem a quiet gentle person.
