Obituary For Andrew James Douglas
Andrew James Douglas, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Red Deer, AB, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020, at home, at the age of 59 years.
James was born on December 4, 1960. He was born and raised in Red Deer. Until 2010, James worked as a carpenter and building inspector in Red Deer, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, and surrounding areas. He started a building inspection agency, Canadian Safety Consulting, in 2010. James’ greatest passion was ensuring that people had safe homes and businesses to work and live in.
He was outgoing, intelligent, business oriented, friendly, and cared deeply for his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and travelling.
James will be sadly missed by Mary Bourne-Douglas; children Connor Douglas and Michael Bourne-Olchowski; grandchild Ashton Bourne; sister Arran Douglas; brother Richard Douglas; nieces: Kallee, Fallen, and Reagan; aunt Annie Ramage; uncle Donnie Ramage; as well as numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents James Melvin Douglas and Catherine Douglas.
No funeral service will be held.

So sorry for Jamie's passing. I was in GP a year ago on business. I've been looking for Jamie in the Red Deer/Bowden area since I moved back to AB 6 years ago. I worked with him with the Energy Doctor years ago.

I am very sorry to hear of your Dadâ??s passing. He was a good person and a very hard worker. I enjoyed working with in the city and when we did meet outside of work. He was very proud of you and spoke often of you. My condolences to you and the rest of the family.

Country Side South seams so long ago. We enjoyed our time spent visiting, golfing, baseball and going hunting. all the laughter and wise words. Hard to believe itâ??s almost been 20 years. Our hearts go out to you both. We will miss James. Travis took the news pretty hard. He looked up to him quite a bit. So sorry for your loss. Dave and Karen

Iâ??m going to miss Jamieâ??s calls we tried to get together many times but work and life got in the way Jamie helped me out many times find work when things were slow . I am happy knowing that heâ??s no longer suffering with pain and heâ??s in a better place . Rest In Peace little brother
