Obituary For Andrew Plishka
Andrew Plishka was born in Grande Prairie on November 6, 1987 and passed away at home on November 2, 2015 at the age of 27.
He lived in various locations, but made Grande Prairie his home for most of the last thirteen years. He spent his high school years at Grande Prairie Composite High School and graduated in 2005. Andrew attended Fairview College where he enrolled in power engineering.
Andrew enjoyed many sports and his very favorite was motocross and freestyle, where he excelled in both. He made countless friends in all his endeavors and will be sorely missed by all.
Andrew is survived by his mother Helen Plishka, his father Brent Plishka, special friend Derek Maple, daughter Zoey, her mother Justine, son Atticus, his mother Trendell; grandparents Larry and Gladys Plishka; grandmother Anne Kutrowski; adopted grandparents Kay and Joyce Maple; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousisns who loved him dearly.
Funeral Service for Andrew will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 2:00pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.) with a viewing held prior at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help cover funeral costs (care of Oliver’s Funeral Home) would be greatly appreciated by the family (10005 107 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 1L8).
