It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anita Lina “Baby” Smith on Friday, October 4, 2024, at the age of 72 years, with family by her side.

Anita was born on June 28,1952 to Francisco and Felicidad Polidario in Manila, Philippines. She was the third of five children. Anita’s kindness, warmth, strength and unwavering love for her family and friends will never be forgotten.

She will be forever missed by her husband Brock Smith; children: Christopher (Diana) Smith, Darren (Elizabeth) Smith; grandchildren: Aiden, Maya; grandnephew: Gabriel; nieces: Jade-Anne Polidario, Jennifer Polidario; sisters: Rose Marie (Gord) Fisher, Maria Luisa Webb; sister-in-law Nenita Polidario and many other family members and friends, who will carry on her memory.

Anita was predeceased by her parents Francisco and Felicidad Polidario, brother Jose Polidario and sister Basilia Felina Polidario.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 1:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (10404 - 102 St). There will be a Service to follow at 2:00 PM.
