It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Sopko, resident of Spirit River, at the age of 91 years.

She is survived by her children: June (Ben), John (Rose), Sylvia (Mike), Helen, Joyce Lee, Jim (Sandra), Dan (Lorene), Ken (Evelyn), Ed (Gill), David, and Sharon (Allen); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister Sonya, and brother Roger.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter; brothers Uhan and Nick, sisters Mary and Neda, and grandson Brian.

She was a wonderful mother and friend and she will be missed.

A Family Interment was held on May 13, 2017.
