Obituary For Annie Corine Lizotte
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Annie Corine Lizotte on Sunday, February 24, 2019, in Grande Prairie, AB, surrounded by her loving family.
Annie was born October 21, 1936 in North Vermilion, AB. She was a kind, loving, generous, strong and independent person. She loved the peace and tranquility of the farm. She loved singing and dancing with her grandchildren while her husband, Cliff, played guitar, quad rides, picking berries, fishing, and simply spending time at the river. She enjoyed long walks with her dogs and watching and feeding the birds. Annie liked to dry her clothes on the clothesline in the fresh air and she had the cleanest home in the country. Annie lived in the moment.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Clifford Lizotte; siblings Joyce (Ed) MacDonald, Lindy Lambert, Ardy Hebert, Angela (Floyd) Carpenter, Gloria (Delmer) Deleeuw, and Gordie Lambert; daughters Brenda (Jim) Whitford, Barbie (Rob) Austin, Bonnie (Walter) Sarapuk, Belinda (Troy) McClure; son Blair Lizotte; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Annie was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Lena Lambert; sisters Millie Fix, Viola Gardner, and Hazel Swanson; brothers Randy Lambert and Gary Lambert; and daughter Benita Lizotte.
A Celebration of Life will be held in spring/summer 2019.

Dear Uncle Cliff and family, Wishing you the very best during this difficult time. Auntie Annie was such an amazing woman with a beautiful soul! Some of my favorite memories of the farm were riding around on the skidoo and having her yelling at me that I was going too fast. One particular time I was helping her and grandma haul clean snow up the hill from the river. I was so scared to not make it up that hill that I sped up pretty fast. I was all proud of my accomplishment only to turn around with a sled with no pails. Haha when I made it back to her, she was still laughing and saying I told you so. Sending you love and hugs. Love Tracy
