She was predeceased by her husband Ritchie McRae, parents George and Anna Small, brother George Small and Arthur Small, sisters Evelyn Sutherland and Shirley Fulk, and son in-law Jim East.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020, at 11:00am, at Glen Leslie Cemetery. If it is raining the service will be held at Bezanson Church.

Barbara had a giant heart, she will be missed by anyone who knew her. I will always remember her kindness and caring - she, and Ritchie and the whole family took us kids in pretty well every summer while we were growing up. She always had a ready smile, and we felt so welcomed there she treated us as if we were just one of their kids. I remember always loving her baking and desserts that she always had on hand. I will always remember her with love. My condolences to all her family and friends! Rest in Peace with Ritchie, Barbara!

It is sad to think of my aunt Barbara and uncle Ritchie no longer being here, but they are no longer in pain or suffering, and are together forever now! They will never be forgotten, and I will always think of them with love!

I was so sad to hear that your Mom had passed away. When I think of Barbara & Ritchie I remember all the sleepovers we used to have. I remember the Chocolate Cakes Barbara used to make with the boiled chocolate icing. Sheâ??d mix up the icing on the stove & just let it cool on the back burner. I remember Barbara always picking mom up & hitting just about every garage sale in town together. Ritchie was always there to lend a helping hand. I remember how he used to tilt his head when he laughed. They were both so gentle and kind. Clara Iâ??d really like to stop for a visit sometime. You could send me message at 780-402-1318
