Obituary For Bernice Whitlock

Bernice Florence Whitlock, resident of Hythe Pioneer Home, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at the age of 90 years.

She was born on January 8, 1926. Born and raised in Canada, Bernice spent most of her life in Alberta.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Gail Hearn (Martin Regnier) and Maureen (George) Fortier; three step-daughters: Marj, Diane and Lori (Lloyd) Whitlock; five grandchildren; Chad (Janice) Hearn, Sherry (Ryan) Tollenaar, Kelly Hearn, Dawn (Steve) Fletcher, Tracy Fortier (Kelly Quinn); as well as six great-grandsons.

A Memorial Luncheon will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at 1:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.)

Memorial donations may be made to Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation (800 College Plaza, 8215-112 St., Edmonton, AB, T6G 2C8).

    We're sorry to hear of Bea's passing. We were fortunate to have been neighbours for a long time and I was able to visit Bea when I went to Hythe. We'll certainly miss seeing her. Sending love to all of you!
