It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Beverley Elsie Baker, after a short battle with cancer. She passed away suddenly, at the QEII Hospital, with family by her side, the evening of Friday, September 30, 2016.

Beverley was born to Percy and Elsie, in Prince George, BC, on April 28, 1944. Beverley married Stan Baker on June 2, 1967. They lived in the Bezanson area until 1973, then moved to Puskwaska. She lived the rest of her life on the Homestead where she raised her family.

Beverley was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to read and had many interests such as: baking, canning, crafting and visiting with friends.

Beverley worked at Ridgevalley School for over 30 years, holding many different positions including: teaching aid, speech aid, librarian, and school bus driver.

She is survived by her husband Stanley, daughter Brenda, son Stephen (Stacey), and granddaughters Meagan and Taylor.

Her death was preceded by her mother Elsie, father Percy, and brothers: Marvin, Gary and Ernie.

Beverley’s family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the QEII Hospital for the compassionate care that was given during her stay.
