Blanche Wakely Pfund, resident of Grande Prairie Care Centre and resident of Grande Prairie since 2006, formerly of Wanless, MB, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Grande Prairie Care Centre at the age of 92 years.

She will be sadly missed and was loved so much. Blanche was one of the residents that experienced the move from the old Grande Prairie Care Centre to the new. She was well loved at the care home.

Blanche will be sadly missed by her children: Gilbert (Dawn) Pfund of Wanless MB, Peter (Monique) Pfund of Wanless, MB, Suzanne (John) Whyte of Grande Prairie, and Betty (Raymond) Nolette of Wanless, MB; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers: Bert Hall and Lloyd (Shirley) Hall; sister Dorothy Duthie (Elwood Birrell). She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Blanche was predeceased by her husband Anthony Joseph Pfund.

Cremation has taken place and Blanche will be buried with her husband in Wanless, MB.
