Brett Parenteau, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the age of 30 years.

Brett was born on August 11, 1993, in Edmonton, AB, at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

Brett was a hard-working pipefitter, who was family driven. He had a goofy personality that his family and friends adored. His sisters were jealous of his bright blue eyes and long eyelashes.

Brett enjoyed spending quality time with his family, and playing video games when he had the chance. He had picked up the guitar and boxing as hobbies throughout the years, and also had a passion for drawing.

Brett will be sadly missed by his partner Tristan Hamelin; daughter Autumn Maureen Parenteau, step-children Harley & Ivory Hamelin; sisters Jayda Parenteau and Kayla Cardinal; cousin Morgan Ducharme; aunt Candace Bryce; and uncle Mark Ducharme.

Brett was predeceased by his mother Carmella Parenteau; grandfather Edwin Ducharme; and uncles Merle Parenteau, and Morgan Parenteau.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 2:00pm, at the Paddle Prairie Communi-Plex (Paddle Prairie Metis Settlement), AB.
