Obituary For Brett Sheldon Auger
Brett Sheldon Auger, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Slave Lake, AB passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 34 years.
Brett was born in Grande Prairie on September 13, 1989, to Pamela Auger and Sheldon Fayant. His mother, Pamela, later married Robert Reimer and they raised Brett together in Slave Lake. Eventually, Brett moved to Edmonton then Calgary where he resided for most of his 20’s. He came home to Grande Prairie in 2021 where he lived until his passing. Brett attended Roland Michener High School in Slave Lake. He worked in the roofing industry.
Brett was outgoing, determined, humorous, meticulous, confident, ambitious, creative, genuine, and kind-hearted. He enjoyed playing guitar, skateboarding, knitting, tattooing, drawing, and chilling with family and friends.
He will be sadly missed by his parents, siblings, nieces, grandma, aunts, uncles, as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Brett was predeceased by his grandpa Alfred Young, uncle Alex Auger, aunty Bernie Auger, grandma Mable, uncle Gerald, aunty Cindy, cousin Annah, aunty Colleen, aunty Lucy, uncle Hong, cousin Robert, and the family dog Scotty.
A Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 7:00-9:00 pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
A Viewing will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Believers Church in Grande Prairie (10711 - 100th St.). Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 pm.
