Obituary For Brian Gibson
Brian Richard Gibson, resident of the County of Grande Prairie, formerly of St. Albert, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
Brian will be lovingly remembered by his wife Juliette; his two children Sabina (Brian) and Brent (Melissa); four grandchildren: Amy, Colin, Isabella and Samantha; mother Gertrude Mary; and brothers Don (Ellen) and Rick (Rita).
He was predeceased by his father Gerald and brother Ray.
Throughout the course of his career as a Sheet Metal Mechanic, he worked throughout Alberta in trailer manufacturing, the sign industry, and in the commercial construction industry. Some of his fondest work memories are of chasing livestock at the Edmonton Public Stock Yards.
Brian leaves loving memories to be cherished by his family, friends, neighbors, and all his co-workers in the construction community.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 2:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
The family would like to thank all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Grande Prairie Cancer Clinic for the excellent level of care given to Brian.
