Brian Peter Jones, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at the age of 82 years.

Peter was born in Liverpool, England on September 4, 1937. Before immigrating to Canada, he performed national service from 1960-1962 and began his career as an electrician. In addition to taking immense pride in his work, Peter enjoyed gardening and camping, but most of all, he loved his family. Peter was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend of 62 years Elizabeth; children: Alan (Sheena), and Brian (Lake); grandchildren: Andrew, Anne, and Thomas; great-grandchildren: Lilah, Caleb, Lucy, Amelia, and Oliver; siblings: Kenneth (Marlie) Jones and Margaret (Norm) Dyck.

Peter was predeceased by his parents Albert and Molly and brother Bill.
