Obituary For Brian Stickland
Brian Stickland, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Hamilton, ON, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, January 7, 2018, with family by his side, at the age of 62 years. He is finally in a better place.
Brian was born in Hamilton, ON, on April 15, 1955, to Richard and Lillian Stickland.
He was the owner of Jaycor Heating in Hamilton since 1986.
He loved riding his motorcycle, but his family more. He was a proud father of his children. Brian said he couldn’t go until Landon, his youngest grandson, could say “Papa”, and he got his wish.
Brian will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Gayle; children: Courtney (Troy) Turyk, Jay (Janelle) Stickland and Daniel Stickland; grandsons Logan and Landon Turyk. Brian will also be missed by his mother Lillian and siblings: Debbie, Cathy, Barry and Chris.
Brian was predeceased by his father, Richard.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Ontario at a later date.
