It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Bruce Watson, announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at his home in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 64 years.

Bruce will be lovingly remembered for his kind-heartedness, zest for life, passion for travel, unending energy and his enduring love for his family. Nothing meant more to him than having family around, whether it was a visit over coffee or Sunday dinners, or a weekend camping; he adored each of them and cherished the time spent with them.

Bruce is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Julie; sons Nick, and Brandon (Lynda); grandchildren: Lucas, Averie, Alexis, Blake, Brody, and Jace. Bruce is also survived by his sister Bev (Gary) Wynn, and brother Mark (Jan) Watson of Edmonton, AB; as well as all his nieces and nephews, and numerous other family and friends.

Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Nancy Watson.

A Memorial service will be held to celebrate Bruce’s life on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home (10005 – 107 Ave).
