Obituary For Carline Bertha Lynds MacMullin

Carline Bertha MacMullin (nee Lynds), loving mother of 3, passed away suddenly at her home in Sexsmith, AB, on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at the age of 64 years.

Carline was born October 12, 1955, to Carl and Eldora Lynds in Brookfield, NS. She was the oldest of 4 children.

Carline was a gifted athlete from a young age, and spent her years playing high school and collegiate sports. She went on to graduate from St. Francis Xavier University, and then the Victoria school of Nursing in Halifax, NS. She later settled in Sydney, NS, where she lived for 25 years, and where her children were born and raised. Carline served her community there for many years in nursing and through her church.

Of her achievements, Carline was most proud of her children, who are currently residents of Grande Prairie, AB. As such, Carline had recently relocated from Brookfield, NS, permanently to be closer to them.

Carline is survived by her mother Eldora Lynds; siblings Fulton and Cindy Lynds; daughter Carrie MacMullin (Jake); sons Timothy McMullin, and Peter McMullin (Nicole); grandchildren: Addison, Ainslie, Peter Jr., and especially her granddaughter Sierra, with whom she shared a special bond. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her father Carl, and brother Timothy Lynds.

Special thanks to sister Cindy Lynds, and niece Hillary Lynds for the love and care they showed to mom prior to her move to Alberta.

â??Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; however, love leaves a memory no one can steal.â?? She will be forever in our hearts. XOX.

Due to current travel restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, followed by a private family burial in Brookfield Eastside Cemetery.
