Obituary For Caroline Gillis Bryce
Caroline Marie Bryce, resident of Sexsmith / Teepee Creek, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the farm, at the age of 69 years.
Carol was born in Arborfield, Saskatchewan on July 16, 1946. She was always outgoing and on the go. Carol enjoyed reading, crosswords, baking, playing crib and canasta; gardening and was happy just being out on the farm.
She was a kind person who would give the shirt off her back if she could. A notable accomplishment for her was getting the farm and maintaining it over the years.
We have fond memories of her spending time in the garden and riding the old milk cow Blacky. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Rob (Rosie) Bryce, Mike Bryce, Irene Lefort, Alan Gardner, Suzy Bryce, Roy (Audrey) Bryce and Carry Bryce; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings Wayne Gillis, Linda Pederson, Mary Lakner, Pat Kuntilla and Tom Gillis; as well as numerous family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Robin, son Thomas, siblings Roy Gillis, Earl Gillis and Cathy Muir.
The Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00pm at Teepee Creek Hall.
Memorial donations may be made to Teepee Creek Stampede Association (RR 2 Site 1 Box 26, Sexsmith, AB T0H 3C0).
