Caroline Rogerson, resident of Grovedale, AB, formerly of Beaverlodge, AB, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 64 years.

Caroline was born at the Royal Alex Hospital in Edmonton, AB, on December 29, 1958. She was raised in Edmonton, and this is where she raised her four children until she met her husband Doug Rogerson. They later moved to Grande Prairie and raised their family together.

She was feisty and a hardworking mother. She was very caring and always was there to talk when needed.

Caroline enjoyed painting, camping, cooking and baking, and being around her family.

She will be sadly missed by her son Lee Miller; daughter Eileen Miller; son Colin Miller; son Darren Miller; sister Pat Dykes and family; brothers Doug Dykes and family, Dave Dykes and family; as well as grandchildren: Sydney Steinke, Mya Jonke, Aubrey Jonke, Addalynn Caroline Jonke, Harmony Miller, Charity Miller, Serenity Miller, Simon Miller, Kaylee Miller, Matthew Miller, Nathan Miller, Brandon Miller, and Krista Miller.

Caroline was predeceased by her husband Doug Rogerson, mother Barbara Earle, and Edward Dykes.

God looked around His garden,

And found an empty space;

He then looked down upon earth

And saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you

And lifted you to rest;

God’s garden must be beautiful,

He only takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering

He knew you were in pain;

He knew you might never get well

Upon this earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough

And the hills were hard to climb.

So He closed your weary eyes

And whispered “Peace be thine”.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you never went alone;

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home.
