Obituary For Charles Reginald Moody

Charles Reginald Moody passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at the Fairview Hospital, at the age of 85 years.

Charlie grew up in the Goodwin area and resided around Grande Prairie. His career as a Bulldozer Operator took him to work in the Pine Pass, DeBolt, Valhalla, and Dawson Creek areas. His skills were appreciated by Park Bros., Disney Bros., Pearson Construction, and he was an Owner Operator of his own Caterpillar.

His kind and gentle nature could be seen in his love for animals and children. Picnics at the Simonette River and Skidoing the Smoky River Hills gave him a love for the outdoors.

He was shy and quiet, but also had a light hearted, fun nature.

He will be missed by his children: Carol (Brian) Bekkeheim, Greg Moody, Karen (Bob) Buchan, Paula (Kelly) McDermott, and their families; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Cremation will take place at Oliver’s and interment will be held at a later date.
