Obituary For Christine Alice Bale Mosenko
Christine Alice Mosenko, resident of Sexsmith, AB, formerly of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at her residence at the age of 54 years.
Chris was the youngest of four, born to “Bud” and Frances Bale on May 27, 1965 in Grande Prairie, AB. She graduated from Grande Prairie Composite high school in 1983 and held many jobs after that. She met her future husband, Brad, at the Stompede beer gardens, and went on plenty of adventures together, such as fishing on the west coast, camping at Musreau Lake, and many more. They moved to an acreage outside of Sexsmith in 1988 and snuck off to Banff to get married in June 1991. From there, they welcomed four children into the world: Niphon, Kristin, Joshua, and Kaitlin, and Chris became a proud stay-at-home mom. Fashion, music, pop-culture, and spending time with family were all very important to Chris.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Brad; children: Niphon (Brittany), Kristin (Cole), Josh (Taleena), and Kaitlin (Jason); siblings: Geri Conrad (Rick), Victor Bale, Joanne Green; in-laws: Cindy Mosenko, Carrie Ciezki, Randy Housman, Colleen Lindsay, Dexter Mosenko (Carla), Claris Trydal (Darrin); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother Frances Bale; father Emanuel “Bud” Bale; mother in-law Grace Mosenko; father in-law Ivan Mosenko; nephew Trevor Housman; sister in-law Cheryl Housman; and brother in-law Ted Ciezski.
In these everchanging times, a private, family-only service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 10:00am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home. The service will stream to Oliver’s Funeral Home Facebook page. Family and friends are welcome to join at the interment at Emerson Trail Cemetery following the funeral.
Memorial donations may be made to Bandaged Paws (9920 91 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 0G3), or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (200 – 1212 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V6H 3V2).

Wow, my heart is heavy to day hearing of Christine â??s passing. Remembering Christine in high school brings back fond memories of her as one of the most attractive girls in school. ( itâ??s true, as a young man thatâ??s what we remember mostly) Even though she was always very shy and reserved and looking past her hot looking body, Christine was extremely kind and sensitive and extremely easy to talk to on a one to one basis back in the days. I am sadden to find out that she leaves behind a large faimly, she will be sadly missed and yet never forgotten. Rest In Peace Christine, and may God shine his light on your beautiful faimly today. Grant ( next door Neibour) Wert

My deepest sympathy to all Chris's family, so saddened to hear this news. I worked with Chris in the early/mid eighties for the Wright's at Eastside Grocery. She was always a joy to share a shift with and with her Dad stopping by to make sure she was working hard. Will miss you Chris, may memories comfort you all at this most difficult time.
