It is with great sadness the family of Dale Roberts, longtime resident of Edmonton, announces his passing on Monday, May 17, 2021. In 2020, Dale was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away at Prairie Lake Hospice, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 58 years.

Dale was born in Lethbridge, AB, on March 15, 1963, the third child of five to Doug and Jean Roberts. He grew up in Valleyview, AB, and decided to follow his father’s footsteps, and in 1989 he became a journeyman plumber and gas fitter.

Dale will be sadly missed by his father Doug Roberts; sisters Dawna Roberts (Normand Marcoux), and Dorrie Roberts (Bruce Whyte); nine nieces and nephews; as well as very good friend Kevin Belmore.

Dale was predeceased by his partner Sherri Black; mother Jean Roberts; and sisters Debbie Otterholm and Dee-Dee Steinkrauss.

A Graveside Service for Dale will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank those who took special care of Dale over the past year: Sara (Home Care), Dr. Moreau, Dr. Hattingh, Dr. Grendarova, and Dr. Barreth; staff and nurses at the Grande Prairie Cancer Clinic and Prairie Lake Hospice.
