Darwin Murray Farnsworth, resident of Valhalla Centre, AB, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 44 years.

Darwin was born November 18, 1975, in Grande Prairie, AB. He was raised on the farm in Wembley, AB. He graduated from Beaverlodge Regional High School and went on to work in the oilfield. He worked at various jobs, most recently doing home renovations.

Darwin had a huge heart and was very giving. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He was obsessed with Warhammers and the Warhammer community. He also enjoyed anime.

He will be sadly missed by his father Murray Farnsworth; sister Jodee (Dale) Hawley; brother Ryan (Paige); nieces Kaylee (Max), and Emma (Tyler); nephews: Ryder, Ty, and Kashton; great-nephew Daxton; great-niece Theo; grandmother Gladys Farnsworth; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and adopted children.

Darwin was predeceased by his mother Judy Farnsworth, his grandparents, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 1:00pm by livestream. Link for livestream will be available 15 minutes before the service on Darwin’s obituary page at oliversfuneralhome.com.

Memorial donations may be made to Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue Association (9920 91 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 0G3).
