  You have been much in my thoughts and in family conversations. For many years our daily lives cris-crossed yet in recent times we have lost touch. However, losing touch does not necessarily mean losing connection. These years together in church, in community and in friendship were good with many, many good memories. John left first and now Dave. Eve, you and I walk alone and its not easy to get used to. This will be a time of experiencing the Lord and appreciating his companionship in new way.   Ev, I was saddened to hear of Dave's passing and want to extend to your and your family sympathy and condolences from Mom (Vera Sheehan) and me. You and Dave were such good neighbours to Mom and Dad over the years. I remember the last time I visited with you both and will hold that special memory of your warmth and friendship to our family. Our families have a ongoing connection with Stephen and his wife reviving the homesite on the Emerson Trail. It warms my heart to know that our old home is in good hands and that the legacy of old-time families is carrying on in Scenic Heights.
