The family of David Ronald Peers heartbreakingly announce Davidâ??s passing in Grande Prairie, AB on Friday, May 15, 2015.

David was born in Truro, NS on September 24, 1969 and spent most of his growing up years in New Glasgow, NS. He was employed in the gas industry in Alberta for the past fifteen years, where he was greatly respected for his work ethic and management skills and where he made so many friends.

David was larger than life, a true free spirit with the heart of a giant and the kindness of a saint. His heart overflowed with love for his family and friends and he was loved in equal measure. He laughed so easily and enjoyed his own humour because it made others laugh.

David is survived by his mother Gay Young-Rogers (Gary), father Ronald Peers (Lynn); his three beautiful daughters Brittany Vienneau (Chris Jenkins), Anna S. Peers, Emma Day Peers and their mom Marita MacDonald; his sisters Cpl. Pam Schuliakewich (Rob) and Gwenne Peers (Jacob Miller); as well as four nieces and nephews. There is a loss in the lives of Davidâ??s family and friends that cannot be imagined.

There will be an Open House on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 2:00-5:00pm at Oliverâ??s Funeral Chapel in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

Memorial Donations may be made to an education fund for Davidâ??s children set up at TD Bank (9940 92 St. Grande Prairie, AB T8X 1T3).
