David Walter Adsit, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 72 years.

David was born May 27, 1945 to Nellie and Wally Adsit in High Prairie, AB. He became a resident of Aurora Court in 2004, then moved to Pioneer Lodge in 2015.

David was always laughing and was a bit of a tease. He was independent and always made his own decisions. He was loyal to his friends and to his Lodge “Family”.

He enjoyed Lego, his IPad, walking (he loved to be outdoors), playing pool, and visiting with friends.

David will be sadly missed by the residents and staff of Pioneer Lodge and Aurora Court, as well as many friends and family he made along the way.

He was predeceased by his mother Ruth “Nellie” Margaret Adsit and father Wally Adsit.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 11:00am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.) with a Viewing prior at 10:00am.
