It is with a deep sense of loss we announce the passing of Delcie Margaret Perry, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, who passed away on Saturday May 18, 2024 at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital at the age of 93 years.

Del was born on May 3, 1931 in Grande Prairie and then raised on a farm in Beaverlodge, AB. After completing her schooling she moved to Grande Prairie and met her husband Alan. Here, she built a full life with raising her five children and working full-time as an accountant at various businesses in the city.

Del loved her garden and it was her pride and joy to see the spring flowers come up every year.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Valerie, Bruce (June), Shawna (wife of the late Neil), Cathy, and James (Shonah), as well as her grandchildren, Shafi (Tyler), Kaitlynn, Brianna, Ryan (Kelly), Jennifer (Jesse), Janelle (Clayton), Kurtis and Coralee (David). Also left to mourn her passing are her thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Alan, sons William and Neil, her father Parry Gill and her mother Annie Gill (nee Crook).

Per Delcie’s wishes, no service is to be held.
