Derek Reilly Glodek resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away tragically on Monday, February 8, 2021, in Grande Prairie, at the young age of 26 years.

He was born on November 26, 1994, in Grande Prairie to parents Casey and Erika Glodek.

Derek was one of a kind, with the ability to find joy in any situation. He had an infectious laugh that quickly had you laughing along with him, no matter the circumstances.

He leaves behind his mother Erika; adoptive mother Anne (Barry); brother Kyle (Pam); sister Scharlie (Jeff); nephew Maxwell; niece Zofia; grandpa John; grandma Irma; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Derek is predeceased by his father Casey; grandmother Lucy; grandfather Ernie; uncles David and Brian; and his cousin Joey.

Derek touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held later this summer.
