I went to school with Rick, and would run into him periodically over the years. He always had time for a chat and a laugh. I am glad now that I saw him at our high school reunion last summer and had a nice visit. I will miss running into him. So sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathies to Rick's Mom, sister and brothers. Rick and I were very good friends. We had plenty of adventures together with plenty of laughs. I was very sad to hear of Rick's passing. I'm so glad I got to visit him this past January. Rick was one of my best men at my wedding 26 years ago and knew my children. This past Sunday the four of us, my daughter and two sons, went to the gun range. I told them about my good friend Rick and our fun times together (the appropriate ones, of course). Thank you for the memories Rickster! Godspeed.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Rick. I had heard he was sick but did not realize how serious it was. Rick and I have known each other for many decades and dated for awhile. We always stayed friends and always were very competitive at our favorite game-pool. Rick was a very decent man who was fair and good to all that he met. I loved his laugh and his sense of humour. He was a very giving man and always had a compassionate ear to any one with problems or troubles. Being his selfless self, he never even mentioned that he was sick when I shared a moment with him at a friends funeral. My heart is broken right now. I am glad that you are not sick or hurting anymore my friend but I will miss you forever. I loved having you here. Till we meet again......Fran.

I had the pleasure of working with Rick for a number of years and got to know him quite well. After leaving Alberta for Saskatchewan in 1989 I would return to GP every year or so to visit family and friends. Usually on the way into town I would stop at the Trumpeter to say hi to Rick and have a beer with him. Even before seeing family. He was a kind and fun person to be around and just good to chat with. A real pro bartender. I will miss him dearly and my deepest condolences go out to the family of this great gentlemen.
