Donald “Don” John Krainyk, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Prairie Lake Hospice, at the age of 75 years.

Don was born on June 2, 1946, in East York, ON, and was raised in West Hill, ON. He was a good carman at CP Rail for 38 years. He met the love of his life Nancy in 1994, whom he married in 1996.

Don was talkative, energetic, opinionated man, who loved woodwork, and fixing cars. He was a passionate train lover and very handy. Don enjoyed word puzzles, number puzzles, and he loved cats.

Don will be sadly missed by his wife Nancy; children Michael and Johny; step-children: Raymond, Allan, and Shazia; his grandchildren; sisters Sonia and Sandi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Don was predeceased by his father Ted Krainyk and mother Margaret Watson.

Don was interred at the Grande Prairie Cemetery.
