Obituary For Donald "Don" Paul Warman

Donald “Don” Paul Warman passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 66 years.

Don was born August 22, 1955. He enjoyed a 35-year career of working on the powerlines. He was very involved in the community of High Level. He organized the annual tradeshow where he enjoyed visiting with all the vendors, served as president of the Chamber of Commerce twice, and was an active member of Citizens on Patrol. Don also owned and operated Northern Light Video for 20 years.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife of 48 years Deborah Warman of High Level, AB; children: Jennifer (Albert) of Middle Sackville, NS, Jon (Carrie) of Grande Prairie, AB, Larry (Josie), and Eddie (Kelly) both of High Level; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-granddaughters; as well as many friends and family members. He is also survived by his siblings: Wanda (Jerry) Trenholm, Susan (Robert) Wilson, Wade Warman, Bonnie (Harvey) Sprague, Gordon Warman, and Sheldon (Marcie) Warman; as well as sister in-law Patsy (Clark) Brander, and brother in-law Murray Stright (Shelley Roy).

Don was predeceased by his parents Howard and Dorothy Warman, brothers Rodney and Ralph, and sister Joanne.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 1:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Alberta and NWT (102, 9823 116 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 4B4).
