Obituary For Donna Love Cooke
Donna Cooke, resident of Grande Prairie, formerly of Teepee Creek, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 71 years.
Donna was born November 27, 1945 in Sexsmith, AB. She spent her life in the Peace Country and retired in Grande Prairie with her loving husband and family.
She was a loving wife, mother grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Donna will be sadly missed by her husband Ron Cooke; children: Jay Jebb, Dwayne Cooke, Gina Goy, Rod Jebb, Shawn Cooke, Rick Jebb, and Sheldon Cooke; step-children: Dale Cooke, Don Cooke, Barb Adair, and Carol Binette; 25 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Garth Love; and sisters Darlene Cooke and Gloria Golnick.
She was predeceased by her mother Rene Love and father George Love.
Memorial donations may be made to Grande Prairie Hospice and Palliative Care Society (Box 21215, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 6W7).

Ron and Family I am so sorry for your loss. I have such good memories of Donna when I waitress at the truck stop. She was a wonderful lady. May your memories help sustain you.

Hi Sheldon, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing..I worked with her at the Met store and at the Westport Inn many years ago. She was always very friendly and always have a good laugh when working with her. This is Heather Haiste recently remarried and live in Onoway now.Hugs for you all during this tough season of loss .
