Doris Mabel Stojan, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, at Prairie Lake Seniors Community in Grande Prairie, at the age of 96 years.

Doris was born in Rochester, New York, USA, in 1925, to George Arthur Ireland and Grace Mabel Dusenbery. She was raised in Trenton, ON.

Doris was loving, caring, kind, and loved reading. She had a great sense of humor and loved swimming with the ladies’ group at Ranchlands.

She enjoyed travelling with her husband Frank to visit family and friends, whether it be by air or road.

Doris will be sadly missed by her daughter Carol Stojan; sons: Rick (Stan), Ron (Lilian), and Mike (Monica); grandchildren: Darren (Cheryl) Beiko, Tara (Alastair) Luke, Tracey (Mace) Eliason, Dan (Amy) Stojan, Jeremy Stojan, and Danielle (Adrian) Jay; as well as eleven great-grandchildren.

Doris was predeceased by her husband Frank Stojan, son Gary Stojan, brothers Bill Ireland and Gerry Ireland, sister Jeanne Fox, as well as grandson David Stojan.
