Obituary For Dorman Ditch

Dorman Ditch passed away peacefully at the QEII Hospital on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the age of 83 years.

Dorman will be remembered for his passionate and creative approach to life...Living each day to the fullest, expressing his genius in everything he did.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Irene of 63 years; children: Valerie Ditch (Ken Kostuk) and children: Cassandra (Lee) and Jonathan (Denise); Rod and children: Kirby (Todd) Aldred, Hayley (Cody) Woolsey and Marina; Lorinne (Gerry) Balsdon and children: Chelsea (Cory) Smith and Sean (Robyn); Corinne Dalen (Peter Boutilier) Corinne’s daughter Aleah (Kris), Peter’s sons: Dustin, Mark and Kyle; Michelle (Herb) Dalen and children: Michael (Lynsey), Elizabeth (Chris) and Matthew (Holly); Angela Ditch and son Zachary Webber (Taihler) and step-daughter Julie (Gary) Schau; six great-grandchildren: Anya, Mick, Leo, Oaklynn, Sophia and Maisie; sisters: Faye (Ray) Innes and Laferne (Wayne) Rodacker; sisters in-law: Shirley (Darrel) Robock, Gloria Potter and Diane (Art) Jack; brothers in-law: Don (Pat) Richards and Gord Richards; several nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.

Dorman was predeceased by his parents: Stuart and Lola Ditch, daughter in-law Debra Ditch, parents in-law Clarence and Annie Richards, brothers in-law: Albert Richards, Ralph Richards, Howard Holfeld and Ken Potter; sister in-law Jenny Richards; nephews Wayne Robock and Ian Robock, as well as many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 2:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

In lieu of flowers, please take time out to hug those you love and cherish the seniors in your life.
