Obituary For Doyle Dean Scott

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doyle Scott. Doyle passed away surrounded by the love of his family on December 28, 2024. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Doyle will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-four years, Barbara; son Dean (Sandy); daughter Stacey (Randy); grandson Tyler; daughter Allison (Eric); grandsons Emerick and William; his brothers and sisters; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Doyle was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Elsie; sister Colleen; father-in-law Ab; mother-in-law Ginger; and sister-in-law Sandra.

Doyle was the owner and operator of Scott’s Excavating for fifty years. He had a passion for heavy equipment, truck driving, and serving his community.

Doyle was the volunteer Fire Chief for the MD#133 for thirty- five years. He loved camping, boating and fishing. Doyle spent time working with his son and daughter-in-law, in his son’s scrap yard.

His blue eyes and huge smile will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Doyle’s life will be held at a later date.

To the doctors, nurses and care workers at the Central Peace Health Complex, the compassion and love for Doyle will never be forgotten. Thank you for all the love and encouragement in his last days.

Memorial donations may be made in Doyle’s honour to the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta and the Northwest Territories or to the Central Peace Health Complex- Long Term Care.
