Edwin Doloroso, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 52 years.

Edwin was born on September 22, 1967 and raised in the Philippines. He was a very hardworking person and had many skills in carpentry, plumbing, and farming. He was helpful to others and had a generous heart.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 27 years Marjorie; children: Marwin and Dwenn; mother Maria Salome; brothers Edilberto and Edgar; sister Elizabeth; as well as numerous cousins and aunts.

Edwin was predeceased by his father Eusebio, and grandparents Lino and Salvacion.

The family would like to thank Dr. Akolo and Dr. Moreau of the Grande Prairie Cancer Clinic, the Cross Cancer Institute staff, Central Peace Health Complex staff and 5 North nursing staff at the QEII.

A Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 3:00-7:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

A second Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 5:00-8:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at a later date at Verdant Meadows Memorial Garden in Iloilo City, Philippines.
