  Emile, Carlene, Michelle, Rocket, Louis (and all grandchildren): I am SO sorry to hear of the passing of Eila. She was (still is) a great woman, and always felt like a sister to me. Hugs for you all. I am sorry to have lost touch with your family. I am glad you are altogether there in Grande Prairie, and comforting each other during this time of grieving. Eila was always very spiritual. If there's a way she can send you all a message that she's okay, she will find a way to do so when you are ready to hear, experience or observe it. That message can come in the form of a smell, dream, visual (for example, on TV), etc. That may not help you now, but it will...after all, it's all about faith, isn't it??? Chin up. Focus on all of the great memories. Like Eila's fabulous cooking - I absolutely loved her date squares, and will never eat another one without thinking lovingly about her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

  Shocked and saddened to hear that Eila passed away. I personally, have known Eila for a long time and she always treated me with kindness. Every time I visited her at her home on Oliver Road, in Thunder Bay, she always welcomed me with a happy smile,even if the timing was bad. Later in life I lost contact with her and Riggie, but used to run into them now and then. It was always great to see them and catch up on the latest news. Our deepest sympathy to the entire family.
