Obituary For Eileen Weber Ross
Eileen Ross, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021, in Grande Prairie at the age of 89 years.
Eileen was born to Emma and John Weber in Grande Prairie on September 4, 1931, and grew up in the Bad Heart area. She worked as Nurse’s Aide in the Grande Prairie Hospital before marrying Dave Ross in 1948. They farmed and raised their family in the Teepee Creek, AB, area. In 1971, they moved to Grande Prairie, where Eileen started working for the Grande Prairie Regional College maintenance department. She continued to work there until she retired in 1994.
She always loved to cook for her family, and they always enjoyed her cookies and other treats. She also enjoyed gardening; it was always one of her pleasures. Eileen loved to travel and took many trips with her husband Dave and in later years with her friends Ann and Wilma.
Eileen has resided at the Grande Prairie Care Centre for the last nine years, where the staff took great care of her.
Eileen will be greatly missed by her seven children: Dave (Ida) Ross, Bev (Rob) MacAlister, Linda (Ken) Landry, Maxine (Chris) Boxall, Rhonda (George) Winia, George Ross, and Rob (Shammie) Ross; grandchildren: Mark (Natalie) Ross, Marion (Mike) Beauvais, Kevin (Chrissy) Ross, Rick (Christine) Krzyczkowski, Brad (Melanie) Krzyczkowski, Wendy Morrow, Holly (Nolin) Veillard, John (Michele) Boxall, James Boxall, Jason (Nicole) Winia, Nelson Winia, Sarah Ross, Jaimee (Ryley) Dreger, and Lindsee (David) Upshall; as well as twenty-three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Dave; parents Emma and John; step-father Jim Stumpf; brothers: Ed, Alf and Carl Weber; sons in-law Jim Ottenbreit and Frank Krzyczkowski.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 12:00-3:00pm, at the Golden Age Center (1022 101 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 0Y5).

Jones Janet
Dear Bev, Linda, and all your sisters & brothers, Was very sorry to see that your Mom has died. She was a sweet lady; I know you will all miss her so much. I have a memory of her and your Dad, before they were married. My dad had hired yours to do some brush clearing on our farm. Don't think he'd been in Canada very long at that point. With love and sympathy, Janet (Moen) Jones.

Klukas Elaine
I am so very sorry to hear of Eileen's passing. It is always hard to lose a loved one but it must be terrible in these times when one is unable to be together to share your loss. The picture you posted of your Mon looks a lot like Auntie Emma. Prayers and love Elaine
